My work started with benchmarking to find out how similar features operate on other platforms and carrying out research to find optimal practices. Initially, I designed a card for displaying a car in the wishlist, which includes a picture of the vehicle, important information, and buttons for various actions. The card comes in several versions and states.
To make the card as reusable as possible, I gathered information on the types of cards currently in use and the data needed on them. Designers from other Skoda products reviewed and approved the design, ensuring they could use it in their own future projects.
Then, I focused on the page's overall layout for different types of devices - desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Throughout the process, I continuously consulted with analysts, the product owner, the business owner, and developers. Designing the wishlist was a complex task, I had to consider the interconnections with other functions and the requirements of different European markets.
